*Assemble at the airport for your flight to London, your gateway to Iceland.
*Upon arrival at London, proceed with a halfday morning tour.
*Return to airport for your next flight to Reykjavik, the capital city of Iceland via Keflavik airport.
*Arrived Keflavik airport, transfer to Reykjavik for dinner and overnight.
Remarks : airport of entry varies, we enter also via Amsterdam, Copenhagen, etc. A minimum of 7hrs is required for a city tour of the respective city, in the event, the connection time is less than 7hrs, passengers will not have a city tour and there is no replacement.
*Tonight, hall embark on a Northern Light evening cruise, with minimal light pollution, a cruise will greatly enhance your chance to see the Northern Lights.
Greatly dependent on weather, and no refund will be given if weather is not suitable for Northern Lights cruise.
*Today we will travel to Golden circle, a popular tourist route in South Iceland.
*We will start with a visit to Pingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park, an UNESCO World Heritage site where you can walk on a path in the rift valley between the Northern American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
*Next is the Haukadalur geothermal area, the location of Geysir – the original “geyser” – and its more active neighbour, Strokkur, which spouts water every few minutes.
*End the circle with visits to the majestic Gullfoss waterfall.
*Overnight in Selfoss region.
*Today we will visit Hvolsvollur, in English means “Hillfield”.
*The area is known for its many beautiful nature scenes like the water-falls, Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss, Porsmork which is a paradise for hikers and the famous volcano Eyjafjallajokull.
*Excursion to the black sand beach of Reynisfjara where we will see pillars of basalt rock stacks raising from the sea. Continue to Vik for dinner and overnight.
*2nd Northern Light Hunting with Tour Manager.
*Today’s excursion is all about glaciers, ice and icebergs. Drive to Jokulsarlon, a glacial lagoon filled with icebergs and we explore the extraordinary site and might see seals swimming in arctic waters.
*Afternoon we spend time at Europe’s largest national park which has Iceland’s highest mountains, an alpine environment, and Europe’s largest glacier.
*3rd Northern Light Hunting with Tour Manager.
*Travel to Reykjanes Peninsular to the geothermal field with hot springs, steaming vents and mud pots. You will visit the famous Blue Lagoon, in the middle of the black lava field (entrance fee incl. towel).
*Morning guided city sightseeing.
*You will see the Perlan (Pearl), Hofoi house which is famous for the summit meeting between Reagan and Gorbachev in 1986, Hallgrimskirkja church and the old city centre.
*The waters off Reykjavik are rich and aquatic life. Most commonly spotted creatures are minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and even humpback whales. More than 90 percent of these 3hrs trip report spotting whales.
*Highlight of today is a specially arranged 6 course dinner at Viking Village.
*4th Northern Light Hunting with coach.
*Early morning, travel back to Reykjavik for a flight to London and free at leisure.
