*Assemble at the airport for your long haul flight to the capital of Finland- Helsinki.
*Arrive in Ivalo- Finland Northernmost Airport.
*Cross the border and transfer to Norway .
*With our very experienced guide, we will go on a snow mobile #1. As we hunt the Northern Lights, we will also have an opportunity to see how a King Crab is caught.
*We will end the safari with an ‘all you can eat’ King Crab and served the Norwegian way with mustard and wine.
*Transfer to Northern Finland for our one in a lifetime High End Deluxe Glass Igloo with Aurora alarm.
* If you lucky, you will be able to see the Northern Lights above you while lying down on your bed #2. Northern Lights Hunting by tour manager. A walk of about 15 minutes is required.
*Visit the Santa Claus Village where you will have an opportunity to post a postcard from the Main Post Office. All postcard sent from there will get a special Arctic Circle Stamp on them.
*Collect an Arctic Circle Certificate with your name and a special Arctic stamp with the date to prove you have crossed the Arctic Circle. *Photo opportunity with Santa Claus.
*Reindeer Ride (400M) – Enjoy the Reindeer Sledge and earn your ‘Reindeer Driver’s License’ end of the ride. *You may wish to join an excursion for BBQ safari Northern Lights Hunting.
*Excursion to the Rauna Wildlife Park (World’s Northern Most Zoo) which consists of approximately 50 wild animal species and 200 individual animals. You will have the chance to be in close contact with various Nordic and Arctic animals like bears, reindeers, wolves, gluttons, lynxes, moose, birds and Finland polar bears!
*A ranger will guide you and explain to you with their in-depth knowledge of the different Arctic animals.
*Husky Dog Farm (2 hour activity total) - Meet the adorable husky dogs and have a closer look at them. The guide will tell you about their life habits and particular features of the husky dog.
*Overnight in Rovaniemi- Considered to be the home of Santa Claus #4. Northern Lights Hunting by tour manager. A walk of about 15 minutes is required.
*Cross the border to Sweden and to Abisko
*Due to its location in a low precipitation micro-climate Abisko has more clear nights than virtually any other destinations and is the top destination for catching the Northern Lights
*Tonight, we will sleep in a traditional deluxe log cabin with spectacular view over Lake Tornetrask
*Board the Artic Circle Train to Narvik- Europe most Northern train station.
*The train was initially opened to carry iron from Kiruna to Narvik and its perhaps the most scenic train journeys of the world #5. In the night, follow our experienced local Northern Light Hunter / Photographer as he will bring you by Gondola (cable-car) up to Narvikfjellet to hunt the Northern Lights.
*While waiting, he will share his professional tips on how to snap the best picture of the Northern Light.
*In the morning, you are free at leisure.
*You may want to grab some last minute souvenir or join a ski lesson for some exciting skiing.
*Domestic flight to Helsinki
(Note: There is no direct flight to Helsinki and you may have to transit 1-2 times).
*Helsinki City Tour- Visit Senate Square and White Cathedral. Continue to Market’s Place, the coastal streets of Helsinki. Make a photo stop at Sibelius Monument, created by Eila Hiltunen in honour of the composer, Jean Sibelius. Then, visit Temppeliaukion Church which is constructed out of solid rock.
